Business Process Management Types
Introduction

Business process management (BPM) is a set of methodologies and technologies used to improve and automate business processes. It’s a strategy that helps companies become more efficient by consolidating their processes, improving them, and making them transparent so they can be analysed. There are three types of BPM:

1. Human-Centric Business Process Management
Human-centric business process management (HCBP) focuses on the user and how they interact with technology. It is designed to improve the way people work rather than look at processes in general. HCBP is also concerned with improving communication between individuals who are involved in a process; it may even be used to optimize the quality of communication between them. This could include using tools like instant messaging or chatbots, for example, which require less typing and more immediate feedback than e-mail programs do.

Human-centric BPM has several characteristics:

It's focused on end users—the people who use applications or services provided by an organization
It can help improve individual experiences within an organization's processes while still taking advantage of IT capabilities
It helps organizations respond faster to changing market conditions.

2. Document-Centric Business Process Management

Document-Centric BPM is focused on the documents involved in a business process. Documents can help with communication, process automation and optimization, improvement of a process and other activities that are part of managing a company.

Documents are used in many ways during the course of business processes. The following is an example list of common uses for documents:
● Task lists
● Process flow diagrams
● Workflow diagrams
● Business rules/process definitions

3. Integration-Centric Business Process Management

Integration-centric BPM focuses on the integration of different processes and applications. It ensures that data is exchanged between business applications or systems in an efficient way. For example, if you are an airline ticketing company, then there are multiple processes involved, such as booking a ticket, checking in at the airport and dropping off the baggage. These processes can be integrated using integration-centric BPM to ensure a smooth flow of information between them.

BPM is a technology that is used to improve and automate business processes

Business Process Management is a technology that is used to improve and automate business processes. It can be used in many different ways and has the potential to improve productivity, reduce costs, and increase customer satisfaction and the quality of products and services.

BPM improves the understanding of current processes by creating a model of how they work; this allows changes to be made quickly and cost-effectively - without impacting the day-to-day running of your business. BPM enables process owners (typically senior managers) to gain visibility over their organisation's key performance indicators through real-time information about what's happening at each stage of their workflow or process chain.

The benefits include:

● Improved efficiency by removing bottlenecks through automation; improving visibility into workflows allows you to identify where delays occur so you can address them quickly before they impact on quality or productivity
● Reduced errors as there are fewer manual steps involved in completing tasks; this minimises mistakes which saves money because you don't have as much waste due to rework

Conclusion

Business Process Management is an important technology for businesses to use. It’s not just about automating processes and making them more efficient, it can also help you to keep track of different tasks within your business. BPM is an orchestrator to manage every stakeholder, whether they are human or systems, to make sure that they know what they need to do so that everything goes smoothly!
