AEGON centralized and digitized its complex, approval-based HR processes by moving them from an unreliable paper-based system to the Emakin platform, enabling efficient management of employees and agencies with instant access to accurate HR data.

AEGON has a large number of employees and agencies, making centralized employee management essential for efficient operations. Due to having different types of employees, AEGON’s HR department required a structured approval mechanism to reduce complexity and ensure consistency across processes.
The HR structure is the backbone of an enterprise and involves a high level of detail and coordination. To address these needs, AEGON moved its core HR processes—such as recruitment, employment, name changes due to marriage or divorce, position assignments, information updates, user management, identity management, and chancellery processes—to the Emakin platform.
Previously, AEGON relied on paper-based HR processes, which had become unreliable and difficult to sustain. By transitioning to a digital platform, AEGON aimed to securely store its HR history and gain instant access to up-to-date personnel and agency information, improving efficiency, accuracy, and overall operational control.
